YOU COULD PERFORM AT THE TI FEST

If you're in a band (or know someone in a band) and would like the opportunity to play at the 2008 Treasure Island Festival, you best listen up. This is the chance for one band/artist to open for Saturday's bill of electronic, dance and hip hop acts (including Justice, TV on the Radio, Goldfrapp, Hot Chip, Aesop Rock, Amon Tobin and Foals), and one for Sunday's bill of indie rock artists (including The Raconteurs, Tegan & Sara, Vampire Weekend, Spiritualized, John Vanderslice) - HELLO!? 12TH ANNUAL MISSION CREEK MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL

Are you looking to utilize your life? Lucky you live in or near the City! July 16th – July 20th is the 12th Annual Mission Creek Music and Arts Festival. MCMAF brings you local music and art in dozens of venues, from visual to literary, and up and coming to cultural. And if you aren't hip to Latin rock (emo, pop, or punk, it has been ruling), this year's MCMAF is featuring Latin rock at Balazo Gallery. This isn't just some hippie or 'not much to it' outing; checking out the roster, you'll be impressed and excited to see local favorites along with artists you've been meaning to see (Jel, Tussle, The Ian Fays!). So treat yourself! A cool place to be that has our community in mind, MCMAF is for the curious, the scene...  > more
